NBC MARCHING BAND COMPETES IN USSBA NORTHERN STATES CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Saturday, November 8th, the NBC Marching Unit competed in the USSBA Northern States Championships in Allentown, PA. The Unit was awarded Best Overall Effect award in the competition and placed 3rd Overall in Group III A with a score of 88.25 – Northern’s highest score in four years. This is NBC's 3rd caption award at Finals since 2003.
The Color Guard of the Unit placed second by just a tenth of a point, earning a score of 18.7. After being ranked 7th in the state of New Jersey at the USSBA State championships, the unit had high expectations coming into this weekend, and met them as they passed bands ranked ahead of them a few weeks ago.
Mr. Pinto and Mr. Lindner are very proud to congratulate all the members of this year’s unit who worked tirelessly this season to represent the very best of Northern Burlington.
